Terms & Conditions
Logistics ABS website information, dated 26 September 2026.
Website information
This website provides general information about freight, warehousing, customs coordination and supply chain services. Content is provided for business discussion and does not constitute a carrier schedule, customs ruling, legal opinion or guarantee of a particular transit time.
Service availability, routing, capacity, rates and handling requirements depend on the shipment, lane, date and applicable third-party conditions. Confirm current details in a written offer before making operational or purchasing decisions.
Quotes and bookings
A quote request is an enquiry only. No transport, storage or customs service is booked unless the responsible parties confirm acceptance and the applicable service terms in writing.
Prices may depend on accurate cargo dimensions, weight, commodity, packaging, origin, destination, Incoterm, access conditions and requested dates. Material changes to those facts may require a revised quotation or service plan.
Shipper responsibilities
The shipper and relevant importer or exporter are responsible for supplying complete and accurate shipment information, packaging goods appropriately, providing required commercial documents and identifying any dangerous, restricted, temperature-sensitive or controlled cargo before handover.
The parties responsible for customs declarations must ensure that commodity descriptions, values, classifications, origin statements and supporting evidence are accurate. A logistics provider or broker may coordinate a filing but does not relieve the responsible party of its legal duties.
Transit estimates and third parties
Transit times are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in a written service contract. Schedules can change due to weather, congestion, capacity, inspections, border controls, carrier decisions and other events outside a party’s reasonable control.
Freight movements may involve independent carriers, terminals, warehouses, customs brokers and public authorities. Their own operating conditions and applicable contracts may govern parts of the movement.
Charges and payment
A written quote should identify its service scope, currency, validity period and material exclusions. Duties, taxes, storage, inspections, demurrage, detention, re-delivery or other charges may arise depending on the shipment and should be reviewed against the accepted service terms.
Payment timing, credit arrangements and dispute procedures are governed by the written agreement for the relevant service. This website does not process payments.
Claims and liability
Any cargo claim, shortage, damage or delay should be reported promptly to the contracted service provider using the notice procedure and time limits in the applicable transport documents and service terms. Preserve packaging, photographs, receipts and other relevant evidence.
Liability limits, insurance responsibilities and exclusions depend on the governing contract, transport mode and applicable law. Nothing on this general information page alters a signed agreement or mandatory legal rights.
Website use and intellectual property
You may use the website for lawful business enquiries. Do not attempt to disrupt the site, access systems without authorization, submit malicious code or misuse another person’s information.
Website text, branding and layout may not be copied or republished for commercial use without permission, except where applicable law permits. Third-party names and marks remain the property of their respective owners.
Applicable terms and updates
These website terms are not a substitute for the specific terms governing a transport or logistics service. The operating legal entity, governing law and dispute forum must be stated in the signed service agreement and should be confirmed before a commercial engagement.
The site operator may update these terms as website functionality changes. The version dated 26 September 2026 is provided as structured website copy and should be reviewed by qualified counsel before production use.
